Painting the Story of Places: A Watercolour Workshop

Using the most delicate of mediums, learn how to interpret your favourite building as a work of art by delving into the realm of watercolour.

Imogen is dedicated to sharing the joys of watercolour and will take you on a journey of artistic discovery. We begin with the fundamentals of watercolour techniques, laying the groundwork and colour mixing, before embarking on our own personal project - capturing the essence of a beloved building or significant location.

All materials will be provided but do bring a good print out of a photograph of your special building. Imogen will have plenty of reference material should you prefer. You will go home with your own illustrated watercolour booklet to allow you to continue your practice at home.

This wonderfully mindful creative day is suitable for beginners or those wanting to explore another aspect to their art. The price includes all materials and refreshments. To treat yourself to lunch after the workshop, book a table at Coppa Club.

For a very special experience, enjoy a night or two at The Swan at Streatley. If you would like to bring a partner who doesn’t want to paint, there are plenty of great things to do locally – a perfect staycation to explore the delights of the Berkshire/Oxfordshire countryside.
